SARAH"My Holistic Journey began back in about 1996 however I ran it alongside my academic A-Level teaching. So, a teacher of both academic and vocational subjects, along with assessing and internal verifying NVQs. Now a full time therapist and tutor of Sports Therapy and Holistic Massage and Beauty treatments I absolutely live by the fact that we should do more for ourselves. Holistic Therapies really can help you lead a much happier and healthier lifestyle, the variety of therapies can help prevent illness, reduce stress, to help you relax, and more importantly they help promote the body's natural ability to heal itself. BEN"My journey into Holistic Therapies started quite a few years ago, when I enrolled on a Swedish Massage course. From my 1stlesson I was hooked. I knew this was the career path I wanted to follow and that my destiny was to be a Holistic Therapist. All my subsequent courses have been with ISIS and I would not use any other training provider or establishment. I am honoured to be joining such a well established training academy with such dedicated and professional therapists and tutors. My own background is in training so being able to combine that with my love of holistic therapies and my belief that they support the body, mind and spirit with the ability to heal itself is a dream come true. I am due to open my Holistic Therapy Centre in Leicester which covers a whole array of treatments with therapists working there offering many therapies, so very exciting and busy times ahead. LORNA"I've been a beauty and holistic therapist for fourteen years now and a Tutor of therapies for six years. I originally worked at the local college but much prefer offering these short, intensive courses, where I meet such interesting people and learn so much from them too! I try to give as much information and handy tips that I've learned along the way and I like to help each student gain a positive outlook for their new career pathway! I believe each person is unique and can achieve their full potential if they look within themselves and trust in their natural instincts to guide them. KAREN"Hi I am a fully qualified and insured Beauty and Holistic therapist. After my first course in level 2 beauty I was hooked and did extras such as henna, smile gems, ear piercing and St Tropez. I then started to build up a client base whilst continuing to study for level 3 in Advanced Beauty. I also added Fake Bake, Nail extensions, Nail art and body wraps to my list. I bought an existing hair salon and introduced beauty treatments to its clients, and continued with my own training, adding Indian head and a Holistic diploma to my list. I really enjoyed mixing my own blends of oils and now try to incorporate these into my everyday family life. I then qualified in teaching and began to teach beauty therapy to small groups. ZOE"Zoe has worked as a Therapist and Trainer providing holistic and beauty therapies, and workshops/training courses for the past 14 years in the UK, Spain and Caribbean. Zoe has extensive therapy experience by running her own successful therapy business, by working for salons, day spas, spa hotels, gymnasiums, a GP practice, community wellbeing projects with the elderly and people with mental and physical health conditions, pamper parties and corporate events. Additional experience has involved fundraising, coordination and delivery of grant-funded complementary therapy community projects for people in need, for which I have raised a total of £25k to date. Zoe is a huge asset to Isis Therapy Training and any student opting to train in Manchester Stockport area will be very lucky indeed."
WAN"After spending decades doing research work in various universities, I decided to start a new life, looking into health care. I received vigorous trainings from Newcastle College, Gateshead College and advanced trainings from various other excellent training schools and tutors. I am intuitive and original in my therapeutic treatments to individuals with diverse conditions and I am very passionate in passing on my skills to promote general health care, through complementary therapy, to the general public and the professionals. Complimentary therapies is where my passion lies, i get a great deal of satisfaction from making people feel good about themselves, in helping aid the body system to work more effectively and I am very enthusiastic about helping reduce the modern western stress levels which many people seem to accept and live with. In working with Isis Therapy Training I get the best of both worlds, working my my own client base but passing on my years of experience and knowledge of the therapies to students for them to go on and spread the word about the benefits of holistic treatments. ELAINE"Hi..I have been a Beauty & Holistic Therapist for the past 8yrs & a tutor for 3yrs. My journey started as a part-time hobby whilst bringing up my 2 sons. It developed into a love of being with people and wanting to pass on my experiences by working in schools, hospitals, pamper parties and local events. I am passionate about promoting healthy & natural health care. My qualifications include Depilation, Manicure, Massage, Cosmetic Make-Up & Skin Care, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candles & Anatomy & Physiology. I think my next step will be Reiki. I believe everyone should live a stress free life to be happy."
WENDY"I have been a massage therapist for 16 years. I've always had an interest in how the body, mind and emotions all connect together, so I decided to train in body massage. I then went on to gain experience in several Spa facilities where I became qualified as a holistic therapist. After working in spa's I wanted to work much deeper with the physical problems that people present with. I went on to study Transactional Analysis in Psychotherapy, some of this training included Body psychotherapy. Studying this I started to gain a much deeper understanding of how the mind, emotions and physical body work together. Studying Indian Head, Thai Foot and Hand Massage, Thai Seated Massage , Onsite massage, Holistic Facial Massage, Hot Stone Massage and all the Thai Yoga massage treatments and workng with many clients has given my such knowledge and in working physically with the body and how deeply healing therapies can be. I trained in Thai Massage in Greece, India and London with qualified teachers from the Sunshine Network who were inspirational with their approach to working with people. Training in Thai Massage opened the door into a much more fluid, energetic and dynamic way of working with people. "

NICOLE"I started my beauty therapy training in 2003 at North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe, where I study NVQ level two and three beauty therapy. Alongside this I completed a diploma in anatomy and physiology and numerous other trade qualifications. I began working in a salon as a junior and work my way up to salon manager. During which time I gained experience working with many different products including Elemis, Dermalogica, Clarinis and Virgin Vie. I have also worked with O.P.I, Universal Contour Wrap and Bio sculpture Gel nails to name but a few. I have had my own business since 2008 and have built up a good client base which is still growing. I work from a village location from my home and pride myself on promoting a friendly relaxing atmosphere. I started teaching in 2009 and have gained relevant qualifications including PTTLS, award in review and assessment, A1 assessors award and certificate in education. I have also gained two and a half years experience delivering and assessing a wide variety of beauty qualifications."
KATIE"Hi i am Katie, I qualified as a beauty therapist in 2003 where i then went on to run my own business, i have worked in many salons and spas and have gained lots of practical experiance in a variety of therapies. I have been teaching for 6 years at my local college and i am passionate about training students to a high standard so that they feel competant about venturing out into the industry to become a successful therapist. ANNE Hello, my name is Anne. My beauty journey started in 1999 when I formed my own business, initially in Wedding Hair and Make-up. Due to popular demand, I studied and qualified in NVQ level Three in Beauty, Nail Extensions and Swedish Massage adding Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candles, Ear Piercing and Eyelash perming to my ever growing interest in the beauty and holistics industry. I too am a big believer in looking after yourself through holistic therapies, and I truly believe that looking after yourself can give you a healthier, happier more positive life.
