Isis Therapy Training Terms and Conditions to Booking
1. All courses must be booked in advance and paid at the time of booking in full. If you cannot attend a training day then you must give us advance notification of 48 hours. With 48 hours notice :- In cases such as this a £25 administration fee is charged to re-print your certificate for your attendance on another course. With less than 48 hours notice:- Please note that you will lose your course fee on this occasion if you do not give 48 hours notice. However this is at our discretion. We will need to know your reason for cancelling. If your reason for cancelling is medical then we will require a doctor’s letter to reserve your place on another course. Again this is at our discretion.
** This (the above) will only happen the once. If you have previously cancelled a course and been moved to an alternative day and you cancel again you WILL lose your course fee, and this is regardless of notice given. Upon cancellation of any course and if you are given another opportunity to attend you have one month in order to complete this course of study or else the fee is lost.
2. If students do not attend on the day of the course they shall lose the full course fee. Subject to terms.
3. Isis Therapy Training takes no responsibilities for any valuables or possessions or vehicles whilst you are on our premises.
4. Isis Therapy Training reserves the rights in the design, text, graphics, images and course material, handouts and website. All materials, handouts, workbooks and other literature supplied by Isis Therapy Training must not be copied or used in any way. All materials are copyright to ISIS and MUST NOT be reproduced in any form.
5. If you have a complaint about any aspect of your training please contact tutors@isistherapytraining.com in the first instance. If you have a complaint regarding a specific tutor then please include details of the training venue, the tutors name, the date you trained, what course you did and also details of the complaint. Please be aware that I will need these details in order to approach any tutor named in a complaint. Complaints cannot be dealt with if these details are not given. Also note Isis will not enter into correspondence with anyone who is rude or hostile either on the telephone or via email. Please also be aware that upon booking you are agreeing to a training session with a freelance tutor who is neither employed by nor paid by Isis Therapy Training. All the tutors are self employed and as such work for themselves. Any complaint regarding the quality of training/venue will be rectified promptly with my help however the final outcome is at the discretion of your tutor. Any correspondence regarding the training/venue should be taken up directly with your tutor. Issues around the manual to be referred to the above email address.
6. Places on courses can only be guaranteed if the payment has been received.
7. All students must act and behave appropriately and not undertake any act that would bring dishonour to the Isis Therapy Training, as this could result in the student being asked to leave the training session with loss of fee.
8. Tutors reserve the right to refuse to teach any student who is rudely late to their training session.
9. The students must be dressed appropriately for ALL courses.
10. Jewelry except wedding bands must not be worn.
11. Hair must be tied away from the face. Nails for massage need to be short and clean from varnish. If nails are too long expect your tutor to ask you to file or cut them short and be prepared to do so to take part in this course.
12. On days when there is only one booking students will be contacted and will therefore be responsible for their own clients/ models to work on and demonstrate the practical skills during the course.
13. Isis Massage & Beauty Training reserves the right to change the course contents, materials, tutors, training dates/days, price, venue and course requirements at any time without prior notice.
14. Children are not allowed at the training venues.
15. Food will not be provided for at the training sessions so please provide a packed lunch
16. Refreshments will be provided
17. Mobile phones must be switched off in the training rooms at all times
18. Isis therapy training reserves the right to decline applicants for valid reasons
19. part our service to provide excellent customer service we operate an equal opportunities policy. Students will not experience discrimination on any counts. Isis Therapy Training will not tolerate abuse Physical or verbal abuse to any trainer at any time. Nor will we tolerate any sexism, ageism or racism or any type of discrimination of any sorts. Bearing this in mind students need to be aware that both males and females book on these courses and we will pair you up accordingly to practise on. So you may be working on someone of the opposite sex. Deciding NOT to carry on with the day if you do not wish to work on any other student will result in your loss of fee. Any student at anytime may bring their own model to practise on.
20. Refreshments will be available for you to enjoy during break times of your course. Please be aware, that if you suffer from allergies or have any special dietary requirements. Isis Massage & Beauty Training has no control over the ingredients of the refreshments available and takes no responsibility for clients suffering any allergic reactions or special dietary specifications
21. Tutors at Isis will not tolerate any bullying on their courses between students.
22. Isis Therapy Training operates a non-smoking policy.
23. All student and client information is kept confidential.
24. Prices can be altered at any time to reflect costs of training however Isis will always remain competitively priced. Old prices will only be honoured at the discretion of Head Office.
25. We invite students who are not 100% confident after the course to come and join the next set of courses in the same subject. Please note this is only available within one month after the date of the course after one month students shall need to repay.
26. We are not responsible for any emails that you do not read on time which relate to your course, changes or cancellations.
27. The prices shown on the website at the time of booking are the prices you will be charged. We cannot be responsible for the incorrect prices put out on the internet by tutors past or present, therefore the prices on the Isis website alone are the prices we will honour. Prices can be altered at anytime.
28. If you are insured currently please make it your responsibility to check with your insurance provider if they will insure our one day courses. We are accredited by external agencies who will cover our courses, other insurance companies will also, but please double check your own insurance.
29. Home study diplomas are to be conducted in your own time; however a maximum training time span of 24 months has been place on all diplomas, after this time your work will not be assessed. Please complete your diploma within 24 months of booking.
30 ** Plagiarism ** Isis Therapy Training will not pass nor certify work which is not the students own. Procedures are in place and we will not accept work copied off the internet. Any student that does this will not receive the next units until work is sent in their own words. We have the right to withhold certification and use verbal questions via telephone should we suspect this to be the case.
